'“to imagine and build cities from the margins — with care, memory, and
radical belonging. Studio mangue exists to reclaim urban space as a
site of connection and resistance”.
urbanism as a collective language
studio mangue is the thinking space of Vivian Gomes, an urban designer, facilitator, and educator exploring public life, care, and connection through urban design, cultural storytelling, and collaborative experiments. Rooted in the idea of manguezal, the mangrove as an ecosystem of coexistence, this platform is a place to think in public, share field notes, and invite collaborations that imagine more connected, life-rooted urban environments.
